In the Figma desktop or web app, click your profile avatar → Settings → Security and scroll down to “Personal access token”

Is my Figma token safe?
Yes. Your token is encrypted with AES-256 before storage, never logged, and never visible to anyone but you. You can revoke it from your Figma settings anytime.
Can I share designs with people outside my company?
Yes. Unlike Figma's email-based access restrictions, Layyout lets you share with anyone, clients, contractors, or external stakeholders, regardless of their email or Figma access.
Is Layyout free to use?
Yes. Layyout is free to get started. Paid plans for advanced team features are coming, but your core access will always remain free.
Do my stakeholders need a Figma account?
No. Anyone you share a design with can view it through a simple link, no Figma account, no subscription, no sign-up required. They just click and explore.
What happens if I update my designs on Figma?
Layyout caches your designs for performance, so updates aren't automatic. When you're ready to sync changes, just hit refresh on your file and Layyout pulls the latest version from Figma instantly.
Do I need to install anything?
Nothing. Layyout is fully web-based, just open your browser, paste your token and prototype URL, and your screens are ready to view and share.
Can stakeholders leave feedback on Layyout?
Not yet. Layyout is currently focused on viewing and exploring designs. Feedback and annotation features are on the roadmap.
Who can see my designs?
Only people you share the link with. Your designs are never publicly listed or discoverable. Remove a file anytime and the shared link stops working immediately.
